We are a Washington D.C. based contra dance band, specializing in traditional dance music with a modern sound, since January 2004. Our instrumentation is unique: accordion, synthesizers, hammered dulcimer, digeridoo, trombone, and all sorts of weird percussion.
These tracks are rough samples of what we do. They were recorded in a living room with a single stereo microphone, so the sound quality is not the greatest. Maybe we'll have real recordings soon...
